Als je een populaire weblog hebt, dan wordt je wel eens uitgenodigd voor bijeenkomsten, panels, ronde tafelgesprekken en prijsuitreikingen. Maar wat als je een seminar wil bezoeken, je hebt geen geld, maar wel een populaire weblog.... Je plaatst een bericht en dan maar hopen dat iemand je wil sponsoren!
Jeremy Wright: I swore to myself last year that I wouldn’t miss it. The problem is that at the moment I don’t have the moola, hoopla or cash to attend. And I’d hate to miss out because of some small thing like dollars.
So, being the shameless self promoter that I am, I thought I’d open it up to see if anyone wanted to sponsor my trip. I fully anticipate that whoever does will want something reasonable in return (no, getting a video of me salsa dancing is NOT reasonable… or is it? Hmm…). Which I’m totally fine with.
